The Van Horne Institute to Host International Business Women at Calgary Women in Supply Chain Conference
CALGARY, AB – The Van Horne Institute is proud to announce its amazing line-up of speakers for the Women in Supply Chain: The Journey Conference on June 16 and 17, 2016. Highlighted speakers include:
- Mary Traversy, Chief Operating Officer, Canada Post
- Mary leads all operational aspects of Canada Post’s business, including Plants, Delivery, Engineering, Network and Real Estate. She is responsible for ensuring Canada Post maintains a highly efficient operation that provides reliable service in support of our customer strategies.
- Kelley Platt, President, Western Star Trucks
- Kelley is the first woman to head up a major truck brand in North America. She is responsible for executive oversight of Western Star Trucks, including sales, marketing, and the truck manufacturing plant in Portland, Oregon
- Lesley Smith, Senior Vice President of Supply Chain, Walmart China
- Lesley is responsible for the overall management of Supply Chain Division, including Inventory Management, Ambient and Fresh DC Operations, Transportation, Direct Import and Supply Chain Strategy & Innovation for Walmart China.
